• 2014
  Founding
  Michael Lagoni founded Stackline with $300 in a one-room apartment in Seattle with the mission to build better intelligence and automation technology for consumer brands.
• 2015
  Client prototypes
  Our team partnered with 10 pioneering brands to develop and refine our technology. This hands-on collaboration ensured our solutions delivered measurable results, setting the foundation for future growth.
• 2016
  Atlas launch
  We released the first version of Atlas, which redefined what’s possible in ecommerce competitive intelligence. This breakthrough technology tracked economic performance for more than one billion products across major online retailers.
• 2017
  Beacon launch
  We invented the Beacon product to automate ecommerce sales intelligence, marketing performance, and operational analytics, allowing brands to focus on strategy while the platform handles complexity behind the scenes.
• 2018
  Early expansion
  As demand accelerated, we extended our footprint to 9 countries, supporting brands across diverse markets through North America and Western Europe.
• 2019
  New offices
  We opened our Minneapolis office as we expanded beyond our Seattle headquarters. Plus, we expanded our solutions to support clients in 14 countries and grew our team to 50 employees.
• 2020
  Goldman Sachs investment
  We received a $50 million investment from Goldman Sachs and launched our retail media advertising technology for consumer brands.
• 2021
  TA investment
  We received a $130 million investment from TA Associates, which positioned us for future growth. Plus, we opened our New York office.
• 2022
  R&D pipeline
  We accelerated our investment in R&D to create groundbreaking solutions that anticipate the evolving needs of consumer brands to enable them to better connect with their shoppers.
• 2023
  Geographic expansion
  We continued expanding our core offerings of Atlas, Beacon, and retail media solutions to more countries throughout Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Plus, we opened a new office in Argentina.
• 2024
  AI-powered forecasting
  We released the industry's first full-funnel forecasting technology in our Beacon product line that enabled clients to see an accurate view of their future commerce performance.
• 2025
  New shopper insights
  Our full Shopper Analytics suite debuted with a powerful suite of tools, giving brands the ability to monitor audiences and shopper behavior across all major retailers and channels.
• 2026
  Continued innovation
  We launched new AI-powered innovations with Advisor and AI Visibility, plus many new technology solutions across Checkout, Pages, Concierge, and others that equip leading brands with the ability to engage shoppers and accelerate growth.
